Note that due to its location in the highlands Zomba is relatively flood safe and was not affected by the cyclone that recently hit Mozambique and some southern regions of Malawi. Our thoughts are with the victims of this disaster.

Visas

For international travelers to Malawi many nationalities are able to obtain visas upon arrival. Note that visas upon arrival will need to be paid for in US dollars or Malawian Kwacha. Personal cheques and cards will not be accepted.
